Lisa's last day working with Jupiter was today. They went to the park and then colored with Sam after they got home.
Jupiter's IEP was today and we are very happy with his progress and the implementation. It's great that everyone is on board with progressing to a text based mode of communication. He won't be using Proloquo forever and we seem to have a solid path to learn words.
Jupiter took a picture of a book shelf in the classroom and was pointing to some blocks that he wanted!!! Everyone was excited that he came up with this way of communicating on his own.
Liz, the speech path, expressed concern about Jupiter's communication being held up by learning to spell.
