partial weekend at camp

Jupiter got to go to camp for a partial weekend. We dropped him off on Saturday morning and pick him up Sunday morning. He had a great time!

saying I love you

 we have been working with you there to get him to say I love you for many years now. Last night was the first time Jupiter articulated each of the words I love you Dada on his own with the prompt to say it but without having to get him to say each individual word after our prompt.

Jupiter work on spelling words, matching words to pictures, and identifying numbers.

Only a few sibs during group but not too bad. He got really upset when he dropped his lunch and the chick peas spilled in the bag but they fixed it and jupiter was fine.

He worked on identifying numbers and words and friend's names.

great day at school

Jupiter had a great day at school he was really happy and super mellow and smiley. No self injurious behavior. He worked on a little science. Identifying elements like sand, rock, Pebble, water, hard, soft. He also worked on matching words to pictures.

excellent camp weekend!

Jupiter had a great time at camp. We were told that he did a fantastic job using his talker. There were comments also about how much he has improved.  He seems to Jaymon and I that jupiter is on an upswing in his communication.

a good day at school

Jupiter did some hand biting after getting off the bus but after that he had a good day at school.

self injurious behavior at school

Jupiter was grumpy and did not want to do his work today but he did finish his work. He has had a lot of self injurious behavior lately it seems at school. We don't see the same behavior at home.
